라이선스 이력 · License history

Spiralday Mac 앱 소스 코드 저장소의 라이선스 이력(LICENSE-HISTORY.md)을 그대로 옮겼어요. 글 안의 ‘이 저장소’는 그 소스 코드 저장소예요.

이 저장소의 코드는 이 파일을 처음 더한 커밋(부모: e40dd8e)부터 MIT 대신 PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 과 함께 공개됩니다. 이 파일은 어느 버전이 어떤 조건으로 공개되었는지를 사실대로 적어 둔 것입니다. 기준은 날짜가 아니라 커밋입니다. 각 버전의 조건은 그 버전에 함께 들어 있는 LICENSE 원문이 정합니다.

정리하면, 이 저장소에 공개된 커밋 가운데 라이선스를 바꾼 커밋을 조상으로 갖지 않고 LICENSE 파일이 들어 있는 것은 모두 MIT 버전입니다 (브랜치 · 태그 포함, 위 표의 106개 — main 94개 + main 밖 12개). e40dd8e 는 main 에서 MIT 로 공개된 마지막 커밋입니다. 위 main 밖의 커밋은 나중에 main 에 합쳐질 수 있고, 합쳐져도 그 커밋 자체는 MIT 버전 그대로입니다 (그 커밋들을 합친 커밋과 그 뒤는 PolyForm Noncommercial).

win-* 릴리스에 붙은 Windows 설치 파일(Spiralday-Setup*.exe)은 이 저장소의 코드로 빌드한 것이 아닙니다. Windows 앱은 따로(비공개로) 관리하는 코드이고, 이 저장소에서는 실행 파일만 배포합니다. 이 문서는 이 저장소의 소스 코드에 대한 것입니다.

예전 MIT 버전은 MIT 그대로

위 표의 MIT 버전(main 의 32d05f5 ~ e40dd8e, main 밖 공개 브랜치의 12개 커밋, 위 태그들)은 MIT License 와 함께 공개되었습니다. LeanAgileHungry Inc. 는 그 공개를 거두어들이지 않습니다. 그 버전을 받은 사람은 그 버전에 들어 있는 MIT License 조건대로 계속 쓸 수 있습니다.
라이선스를 바꾼 커밋과 그 뒤의 버전은 PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 과 함께 공개됩니다. 예전 MIT 버전에 있던 코드가 새 버전에 그대로 남아 있거나 나중에 main 에 합쳐지더라도(예: 위 브랜치), 예전 MIT 버전에서 받은 사본은 그 버전의 MIT License 를 따릅니다. 바뀌는 것은 새 버전을 받는 조건입니다.
어느 쪽이든 Spiralday 이름 · 로고 · 앱 아이콘은 코드 라이선스와 따로입니다 — TRADEMARKS.md.
함께 들어 있는 외부 구성 요소(Sparkle · libsodium · swift-sodium · Poor Story 글꼴)는 바뀌기 전에도 뒤에도 각자의 라이선스를 따릅니다 — README 의 라이선스.

In short, every commit published in this repository that contains a LICENSE file and does not have the relicensing commit as an ancestor is an MIT version (branches and tags included; 106 commits in the table above — 94 on main and 12 outside it). e40dd8e is the last commit published under MIT on main. The commits outside main listed above may later be merged into main; they remain MIT versions themselves (the merge commits and everything after them are PolyForm Noncommercial).

Every tag listed above in the Korean section — v1.0.0 through v1.1.0 (c0cf90cb89175b84dd5cd3a8387120111d1bfce2), win-v0.9.1, win-v0.9.2 and win-latest — points to a commit at or before e40dd8e that contains the MIT LICENSE. win-latest is shown at its position just before the change; it is a moving tag used for Windows updates, and if it moves, the LICENSE in the commit it then points to governs that version. The Windows installers attached to the win-* releases are not built from this repository; the Windows app is maintained separately (privately) and only its installers are distributed here.

Earlier MIT versions stay MIT. The MIT versions in the table above (32d05f5 … e40dd8e on main, the 12 commits on public branches outside main, and the tags) were published with the MIT License, and LeanAgileHungry Inc. does not withdraw that publication: anyone who received those versions may keep using them under the MIT License included in them. The relicensing commit and later versions are published with the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. Even where code from an earlier MIT version remains in a later version, or is merged into main later (for example, the branches above), a copy received from an earlier MIT version follows that version’s MIT License; what changes is the terms on which the new versions are offered. In either case, the Spiralday name, logo and app icon are not part of the code license — see TRADEMARKS.md. Bundled third-party components (Sparkle, libsodium, swift-sodium, the Poor Story font) keep their own licenses before and after the change.
