Available now Sync is for those who turn it on. It keeps Mac · Windows · iPhone · iPad · Android in step.

  • End-to-end encrypted — Your planner is locked on your device before it leaves. The server keeps only ciphertext it can't make sense of, so not even we can read it.
  • No account — No email, no password. Scan a QR code or enter an 8-digit code to connect. If you change or lose a device, a 25-character recovery code connects you again. We don't know your recovery code, so be sure to write it down somewhere.
  • Live, letter by letter — With two devices open together, the letters you type on one appear on the other, one by one.
  • Only when you turn it on — It starts off. If you never turn it on, your records never leave your device.

  1. Download — Get Spiralday.dmg and open it.
  2. Drag — In the window that opens, drag Spiralday into the Applications folder.
  3. Open — Open it from Applications or Spotlight, and you're done. It's notarized by Apple, so it opens right away, and the app tells you when a new version is out.

Windows Free now

  1. Download — Get Spiralday-Setup.exe.
  2. Run — Run the file. Because the program is new, a ‘Windows protected your PC’ window may appear. If it does, click More info → Run anyway. If the publisher is LeanAgileHungry . INC, it's a file we signed. If the install is blocked or Edge warns you, see the Windows install & update guide.
  3. Done — Click ‘Install’ to install it for your account only, then ‘Finish’ to open it. The app gets new versions by itself.

Privacy

Your records stay on your device.

The Spiralday apps have no accounts, no sign-in and no ads. What you write is saved on your device as you write it, and it works without the internet.

  • The internet only when needed — for update checks and in-app news in the Mac · Windows apps, anonymous usage stats you can turn off in Settings, previews of the sites you put in a link box, and Google ML Kit when you connect devices by QR code on Android. Everything else works offline (Privacy policy)
  • Sync only when you turn it on — Unless you turn on Spiralday Sync, your records never leave your device. Even when it's on, it's end-to-end encrypted: the server keeps only ciphertext, and we can't read it
  • Saved on your device — Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Spiralday,
    Windows: %APPDATA%\Spiralday, iPhone · iPad · Android: the app's private storage that other apps can't read
